Installing the Subtile extension
Go to the installation page and click on the Install now button. Chances are that a bar appears at the top of the window. Click on the Edit options and then on the Allow button. You will have to click again on Install now to resume the installation.
Once installed, a new icon appears in your toolbar. Click on the little triangle at the right of the icon to open the menu. If you don't see the triangle, it means that no menu has been installed. Click on the icon to go to a page containing available menu configurations.
Uninstalling the Subtile extension
Go to firefox menu Tools/Addons. Select Subtile in the window that just opened then on the Uninstall button.
Installing a menu (subtile)
The extension must be installed first. Go to the subtiles page and click on an available subtile. The menu will install automatically.
Uninstalling a menu (subtile)
Open the menu you want to remove and choose Setup/Remove option. The menu is automatically uninstalled.
Limiting Subtile download activity
Every remote data source is refreshed periodically. You can set a minimum duration between 2 update operations.
Click Firefox menu Tools/Add-ons, select Subtile and click on Preferences. You can set here the minimum number of minutes between updates.
