Thanks for using the Subtile Firefox extension
Using our extension makes sense only if you also install at least one menu configuration, that we call subtile.
You can either choose one of the ready-to-use subtiles from this page or decide to build your own.
If you want to create your customized menu, you may choose one of the high-level dedicated wizards:
- DownloadHelper to generate subtiles that alerts you whenever a new video is uploaded to YouTube or DailyMotion and whose description matches some expressions you choose. You may also have menu items showing the most popular videos on those sites, and the top rated or visited video sites as ranked by www.downloadhelper.net.
- FxExt to create a menu configuration able to generate an alert when a comment is posted for one of the Mozilla extensions you want to monitor.
The editors above are dedicated to specific communities of users. You may want completely different menu configurations: create your own subtiles with the general editor.
Of course, if you want to create dynamic configurations, like for instance a menu that matches your site's navigation, or if you wish to put your hands into Subtile low-level stuff, you can still generate menu configurations by editing a small XML file. You will need to have a look at the developer documentation.
